Dr. Nita Sahi is a renowned expert in the field of Biochemistry with over 25 years of experience in both research and teaching. She holds PhD degree in Biochemistry (Medicine) from R.N.T Medical College, Udaipur (RUHS). Throughout her career, Dr. Nita Sahi has contributed significantly to advancing the understanding of specific area of biochemistry, e.g., metabolic pathways, enzyme kinetics, molecular biology, etc. She is currently serving as Dean – Academics (UG and PG) and as Professor and Head of Department of Biochemistry at Pacific Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), Udaipur.
She has published numerous papers in leading scientific journals, focusing on specific topics or areas of expertise. Six PhD scholars and 20 students in M Sc (Medicine Biochemistry) have successfully completed their thesis under her able guidance As a professor and head at PMCH Udaipur, Dr. Nita Sahi has inspired and mentored countless students pursuing careers in biochemistry. Her teaching approach combines rigorous theoretical knowledge with practical insights, making complex biochemical concepts accessible and engaging for learners at all levels.
In addition to her academic and research work, Dr. Nita Sahi is a frequent speaker at conferences, sharing her latest findings and innovative ideas. She is passionate about promoting scientific education and fostering a deeper understanding of biochemistry's role in medicine, biotechnology, and environmental science. She has authored two editions of the Biochemistry Textbook of Clinical Insights.
